About Me:
I grew up in Chicago and relocated to Los Angeles after finishing my undergrad for work. While living in LA, I discovered an unexpected passion for medicine through a work project with the Alzheimer's Association. Being alongside patients and families navigating neuro-degenerative disease exposed me to the complex relationship between physical illness, mental health, and quality of life. These experiences deepened my commitment to patient advocacy and inspired me to transition into medicine, where I could help address the full spectrum of patient healthcare needs.

Career Interest: Child and adolescent psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry and addiction psychiatry

Undergraduate Studies:

About Me: Mental health was rarely acknowledged when I was growing up. Naturally, I was drawn to it and ended up majoring in Psychology to learn more about the brain and human behavior. I became passionate about mental health and knew I wanted to help others. I took that passion one step further and decided to pursue medicine to ultimately become a psychiatrist. Psychiatry is such an important and life-changing branch of medicine. I am optimistic about the future of psychiatry since mental health has become less stigmatized and people feel more comfortable seeking help.
Hobbies: Find me outdoors! Love to hike, swim, kayak, and just be around nature. Visiting all the National Parks is on my bucket list. I also enjoy fitness, cooking, road trips, and traveling.
Career Interest: General Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
